About Me

I am a Native New Yorker and life-long designer- I graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn before spending four decades as a Creative Director in the Ad Industry.  I have created luxury campaigns introducing brands including GE Monogram; Nautica; JOY and Anne Klein perfumes; Sophia Loren Eyewear; The Wines and Foods of Italy; Macanudo, and Cohiba Cigars. I’ve collaborated with famed artists including Richard Avedon, Arthur Elgort, Elliott Erwitt, Wayne Eastep, Robert Freson, Sheila Metzner, and Dan Wynn. As an artist with a passion for food, I’ve kept detailed and illustrated journals of every dinner party I have ever created and ongoing. I’ve been featured as an entertainer and food authority in numerous publications. Bon Appetit and Greenwich magazines have featured my concepts, presentations and recipes. When AOL first launched their food network, I was the first food authority featured to interact with food audiences across the country. To share my treasure trove of menus, thematic ideas and recipes, I am making my journals of unforgettable fun with food and friends (including well known chefs and restauranteurs) available for the first time ever by way of my blog.
I give presentations on entertaining at local venues when requested. Often times the presentation includes tastings from my entertaining journals.

Just some of the dinner party journals that I have kept.
